Hi there! I love polka dots, jelly, and Greek mythology. And I would like to add that A Midsummer's Night Dream is the best play ever written. That is all.

A Stretchy Hand

This is seriously the best site ever. I thought, when I had saw Jello Time, that I had found it already, but then I met this website.
Basically it's like a virtual version of those elastic hand toys that you can get from some vending machines, and it's just so fun!

Alan Turing's 100th Birthday

It's been a long, loooooong time since I've researched WWII, so I don't remember much about Alan Turing, but I do remember that he was a really important codebreaker for the British during the war, and he helped crack the German Enigma Machine, which was like, the best coding device ever.
So all in all, a really smart and cool bro.
And today's his 100th birthday, so Google decided to commemorate it by creating this genius interactive doodle that you can learn to solve by watching the following video here!

Possibly one of the best website of all time:

Wave your mouse around a giant picture of Jell-O and watch it respond to your mouse's movements. Complete with sound effects.

The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins

In school we're reading The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien for our novel study, and it's an immensely boring book, but this song probably makes up for it.
Note: Bilbo is the main character of The Hobbit, but you probably won't understand much of this song unless you get an idea of what the book is about.
As the description for this video reads, "Enjoy it... Or panic!"

October 31

I failed. I totally forgot about this on the actual day it happened, which was really pathetic on my part, and since it's been over two weeks, you probably already know of this already, but:
On Oct. 31, 2011:
  1. I celebrated an amazing awesome fun Halloween.
  2. The world's population officially increased to seven billion people.
Coo-ool!

TAK: The Hideous New Girl Part One

Episode 36 of the fantastic TV show Invader ZIM, but this is the speeded-up version, which is just as funny as the original.
Everyone's voice sounds like they just inhaled a tank of helium :D

DrawAStickman.com

A cool interactive site with a great message at the end! Also, you can edit the message, which is awesome.

Marie Curie

Today is Marie Curie's 144th birthday!
She is famously know for her research on radioactivity with her husband, Pierre Curie.
She was born as Maria Salomea SkÅ‚odowska on November 7 (today), 1867 in Warsaw, Poland. She died on July 4, 1934 in Haute-Savoie, France due to, ironically, too much exposure to radiation.
