2011 Canadian Federal Elections
Today is the national Canadian Federal Election day (Members of Parliament) where citizens 18 years old or older can vote for an MP (Member of Parliament - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Member_of_Parliament) that'll represent them in government. Well, something like that. I'm not that great at politics and all that.

I just go to vote. Are you looking forward to growing up quickly so you can vote?
ReplyDeleteMy dad and I went to vote yesterday (well only my dad) as well! I certainly want to be able to vote now, but I don't want to grow up yet because it's a lot of fun being a kid!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I more like being an adult. When I was a kid I can't do lots of things without my parents permission. Now I am free, I can do whatever I like to do, isn't that fun? When you grow up, you will find it's always a lot of fun at any age. By the way, why your Mom didn't go to vote?
ReplyDeleteYou have a point.
ReplyDeleteMy Mom didn't vote because that day she worked until after the election was over.
