2011 Canadian Federal Elections

Today is the national Canadian Federal Election day (Members of Parliament) where citizens 18 years old or older can vote for an MP (Member of Parliament - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Member_of_Parliament) that'll represent them in government. Well, something like that. I'm not that great at politics and all that.

    I just go to vote.Are you looking forward to growing up quickly so you can vote?

    My dad and I went to vote yesterday (well only my dad) as well! I certainly want to be able to vote now, but I don't want to grow up yet because it's a lot of fun being a kid!

    Hahaha! I more like being an adult. When I was a kid I can't do lots of things without my parents permission. Now I am free, I can do whatever I like to do, isn't that fun? When you grow up, you will find it's always a lot of fun at any age. By the way, why your Mom didn't go to vote?

    My Mom didn't vote because that day she worked until after the election was over.
